Hey all!! Itā€™s been a week!!! I cannot believe that as I am writing this, iā€™m currently sitting in the airport waiting for our 5am flight headed to Miami, then NICARAGUA!!! To say I am excited is an understatement by far. Guys, the Lord has shown himself to me in incredible ways this past week!! I wanna share a few:

First of all, I got baptizedā€¦ again!! Many of you may know that I got baptized around a year ago. This was a very influential moment for me as the Lord had completely healed me from my depression and I was in total AWE of Him! At training camp this week, the Lord was revealing to me that I was still holding a lot of shame from my past though in some of the things I did while I was struggling and some continued after as well. I was able to bring ALL of these things to the light and lay them at the feet of the one who died for it all! Guys, he WANTS our past hurts to be taken from us. He wants us to sit at his feet and rest in the fact that he is risen and the things that weigh us down were paid for by his blood. This is significant in why I chose to get baptized again. I wanted to proclaim that I am choosing to live in His light, to let his promise rule my life and heal my past self fully. That darkness has no part in me anymore!!! As I was getting baptized, the staff member had recited this verse:

ā€œArise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you.ā€
ā€ā€Isaiahā€¬ ā€60ā€¬:1

This was so crazy because prior to my coming here, my two squad leaders had prayed over each of us and the Lord highlighted this EXACT verse for me. The staff member that was praying this over me had no idea and I was so shocked, I opened my eyes and was just incredibly in awe of the Lords continual showing up and confirmation! He wants me to shine his light to all and give Him glory in everything that I do! I pray that this verse will mark my life from here to eternity!

Another thing that I wanted to share with you guys is that the Lord has given me so grace in all of this. Heā€™s been so kind. He understands my pains and my desires. He is slowing shaping my passions into one desire. And that is to fully know him and be fully known by Him.

I canā€™t thank you all enough for your support once again. I couldnā€™t be here without each of you. Iā€™m asking that you continue to pray specifically for safe travels, good health, and just unity among my team. Iā€™m so grateful for you all. Next time I write, Iā€™ll be in Nicaragua. Wow! The Lord has been showing me that ministry doesnā€™t start with Nicaragua. It starts with knowing Him. So, I canā€™t wait to continue sharing the ways the Lord meets me because itā€™s too good not to share! I love you all!! ā¤ļø
